Introduce
In Pac-Man (GB), players control the iconic yellow character, Pac-Man, within a two-dimensional maze. The primary objective of each level is to consume all the small dots (known as "Pac-Dots") scattered throughout the maze. Once all Pac-Dots are eaten, the player advances to the next stage.
The main challenge comes from four colorful ghosts: Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange). Each ghost possesses a distinct pursuit behavior, making them unpredictable and dangerous. If Pac-Man touches a ghost, the player loses a life. The game ends when all lives are depleted.
To counter the ghosts, there are four large "power pellets" located at each corner of the maze. When Pac-Man consumes a Power Pellet, the ghosts temporarily enter a "frightened" state, turning blue and becoming vulnerable. During this state, Pac-Man can chase and eat them for bonus points. After being eaten, a ghost will return to the ghost house in the center of the maze and regenerate to continue its pursuit.
Additionally, bonus items (typically fruits or other symbols) will periodically appear in the center of the maze. Consuming these items grants extra bonus points. Despite being a Game Boy version, Pac-Man (GB) retains the addictive and challenging gameplay of the original arcade classic, providing a timeless entertainment experience for mobile players. Its simple yet effective graphics, coupled with characteristic sounds, create an enduring game.
