Pachinko Wars (Japan)

Pachinko Wars is a horizontally scrolling shooter inspired by the popular Japanese game, pachinko. Instead of controlling a typical character, players control a powerful cannon. The main objective is to shoot down enemies appearing on the screen, ranging from small spaceships to giant bosses. The biggest difference between Pachinko Wars and other shooters lies in its scoring system. Instead of relying solely on enemy destruction, players must also collect balls falling from the sky. These balls behave like in pachinko, bouncing and falling, and players must shoot them to earn extra points. Collecting many balls grants more bonus points, allowing players to upgrade their weapons. These upgrades can include increased attack power, firing speed, or unlocking special ammunition. The game features numerous levels with increasing difficulty, along with diverse enemies and bosses. Pachinko Wars also incorporates a power-up system, allowing players to temporarily boost their power or gain special abilities for a short time. To complete the game, players must overcome all levels and defeat the final boss.
