Introduce
Columns is a classic match-three puzzle game. Gameplay takes place on a vertical screen where colorful gems fall from the top. Players control these falling gems by rotating and moving them, aiming to align three or more gems of the same color horizontally or vertically. When a line is formed, it disappears and the gems above fall down, creating space for new gems.
Points are awarded based on the number of gems cleared at once. Clearing multiple gems simultaneously grants higher bonus points. The game features various levels with increasing difficulty over time; the falling speed of the gems increases, requiring players to have quick reflexes and a well-thought-out arrangement strategy.
In addition to the main game mode, Columns often includes other game modes, such as a time-limited mode, a target score mode, or other variations that offer diversity and challenge to the players. The game doesn't have a complex storyline; the focus is on the player's concentration, reflexes, and planning ability to achieve the highest score.
