When pitching, players control the pitcher, selecting different types of pitches such as fastball, curveball, slider, or forkball depending on the situation. Adjusting pitching power and ball placement is crucial to deceive the opposing batter. Each pitcher has unique stats and abilities that affect the speed and spin of their throws.
In the batting section, players need to time their swing precisely. The combination of directional pad and action buttons helps control the swing direction, aiming to hit the ball far or past the defensive players. A successful hit can result in spectacular singles, doubles, triples, or even home runs, scoring points for the home team. Reading the ball's trajectory and anticipating the type of pitch from the opposing pitcher are key factors for effective hitting.
Fielding and base running are also simulated in detail. When the ball is hit, fielders on the diamond will automatically move, or players can control them to suitable positions to catch the ball. After catching the ball, players will make throws to the bases to get opposing runners out. Quick and accurate decision-making when throwing to bases is vital to prevent the opponent from scoring. Runners on bases will automatically move after the ball is hit, or players can order them to run or stop depending on the game situation.
The game unfolds over 9 standard baseball innings. The objective is to score more points than the opponent before the game ends. Shin Moero!!
