Square Enix has announced a remake of Romancing SaGa 3 titled Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United for Sony PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store). The game is scheduled for release on February 16, 2027.

Overview
Romancing SaGa 3, the acclaimed JRPG originally released in Japan in 1995, returns in a complete 3D remake. Whether you are a veteran fan of the SaGa series or a newcomer, this reimagined version offers a fresh perspective on a classic adventure.
Story
Every 300 years, Morastrum—the Death Star—appears, bringing doom to all living things born beneath its light, with one mysterious exception hailed as the Child of Destiny. Nearly 20 years after its last appearance, a rebellion in Loanne reveals a much greater threat: the Four Sinistrals are seeking to reopen the gates to the Abyss. Eight heroes bound by destiny must join forces to save the world.
