Peek-A-Boo Poker is a straightforward video poker game developed for the NES console. Players begin by placing a bet. They are then dealt five cards. The objective is to form the strongest possible poker hand.
Players have the option to hold any number of their initial five cards and then draw new cards to replace the unheld ones. After the draw, if the player achieves a winning hand (e.g., a pair of Jacks or better, two pair, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush, royal flush), they receive a payout according to the paytable displayed on the screen.
The unique aspect of Peek-A-Boo Poker lies in its additional reward beyond monetary winnings. With each winning hand, a portion of a suggestive image is gradually revealed. The more hands won, the more of the picture is unveiled until it is fully visible. This is an unlicensed game, and its "adult" element serves as its primary appeal.
