Karaoke Studio Senyou Cassette Vol 1 is not a standalone game but an expansion cassette designed for the original Karaoke Studio system on the NES console. To use it, players need the Karaoke Studio unit and the dedicated NES microphone. This cassette contains a collection of Japanese songs specifically designed for sing-alongs.
Once loaded, players can select a song from the list. The screen will display the lyrics along with the backing track, and potentially a pitch guide, depending on the features of the basic Karaoke Studio system. The primary goal is for players to sing along to the displayed lyrics, enjoying the fun of home singing.
