Introduce

In Elevator Action, players control a secret agent known as Agent 17. Your primary mission is to infiltrate a multi-story building, collect all 17 confidential documents hidden behind blue doors, and then safely escape the building.

Each level represents a tall building filled with numerous elevators and escalators. Agent 17 must navigate up and down between floors, confronting red-suited enemy agents. The player is equipped with a pistol and can shoot, jump, or duck to avoid incoming fire. Enemy agents can emerge from doors or simply walk on the floors. They will also return fire, making quick evasion and counter-attacks crucial.

Elevators are the central element of the gameplay. You must use them to travel between floors, but also be careful not to get stuck or crushed by a descending elevator. In fact, you can even use elevators as a weapon by making them drop and crush enemies. There are also escalators that provide quick transit between certain sets of floors.

There are three main types of doors: blue doors contain the confidential documents you need to collect; red doors are usually empty or may spawn additional enemies; and other regular doors. After collecting all 17 documents, a special door in the basement will open, allowing you to access the escape car. Don't forget that you can also open doors to surprise enemies or let them pass through.

Elevator Action demands a combination of quick reflexes, shooting skills, and tactical thinking. Players need to plan their movement through the floors, prioritizing document collection while dealing with enemies. Managing time and avoiding elevator hazards are key to completing the mission and achieving a high score. The game features characteristic 8-bit NES graphics and simple yet effective sound, creating an addictive arcade experience.
