Players assume the role of Dr. Alistair Finch, a brilliant archaeologist. Your mission is to infiltrate ancient tombs and mysterious pyramids in search of a lost, powerful artifact. Egypt is a 2D side-scrolling action-adventure game where players navigate diverse levels, from scorching deserts to the dark corridors of pyramids.

Enemies include mummies, giant scorpions, ancient spirits, and Egyptian mythological creatures. Players will use basic weapons like a whip or dagger, and can upgrade or find special items such as amulets or potions for temporary power boosts. The game will incorporate light puzzle-solving elements, requiring players to find keys, activate hidden switches, or arrange symbols to unlock pathways. Secret areas containing treasures or vital information are hidden throughout.

Each major area culminates in a challenging boss battle, often against an ancient Egyptian deity or a cursed pharaoh. The 8-bit graphics boast a classic NES style, with environmental details designed to evoke a sense of mystery and antiquity.
