Introduce

Eggerland - Meikyuu no Fukkatsu is a classic puzzle game for the NES, where players control the protagonist Lolo on a journey through hundreds of challenging labyrinthine rooms. The main objective in each room is to collect all the "Heart Framers" (hearts) to open the exit door. Once the door is open, Lolo must reach and grab the treasure chest to complete the stage and proceed to the next room.

Lolo can move in four basic directions. The game environment is filled with various obstacles and diverse enemies. Players must use their wits to push "Emerald Framers" (green blocks) to block enemy paths, create bridges over water, or protect Lolo from dangers. Each type of enemy has unique behavior: from simple moving "Snakey" creatures, to projectile-firing "Gol", and "Medusa" who can paralyze Lolo if looked at directly. Lolo must avoid them or use his limited magical abilities.

Lolo's primary ability is the "Magic Shot". Lolo can shoot enemies to temporarily turn them into eggs. These eggs can be pushed around to block paths, serve as temporary obstacles, or be destroyed if shot again. However, the number of "Magic Shots" is limited and must be used strategically. Additionally, Lolo can pick up special items such as a "Bridge" to create pathways over water, or a "Hammer" to destroy certain types of blocks.

Each room is a self-contained puzzle, requiring players to think carefully about every move and how to utilize items. A wrong step can lead to Lolo getting stuck, being attacked by enemies, or being unable to complete the objective. The game features a complex level structure with multiple areas and hundreds of puzzles, ensuring players are constantly challenged. The difficulty of the game gradually increases, demanding patience and good planning skills from the player.
