Introduce

In Balloon Fight, players control a character wearing a helmet and equipped with two balloons attached to their back. The primary objective of the game is to pop all the enemies' balloons on screen to complete a stage. Players move by pressing the A button to flap their wings and ascend, or releasing it to slowly descend. This control scheme requires dexterity to navigate the character through the air, avoiding obstacles and opponents.

Enemies also have balloons and will attempt to collide with the player. To defeat them, the player must fly higher and stomp on the opponent's balloons, causing them to burst. Once their balloons are popped, enemies will fall. If they fall into the water at the bottom of the screen, they will be eaten by a giant fish. However, if they land on solid ground without falling into the water, they can reinflate their balloons and continue attacking. Players must also be wary of lightning strikes from thunder clouds or avoid being swallowed by the fish if flying too low to the water's surface.

The game features both a single-player mode and a two-player mode. In two-player mode, players can either cooperate to eliminate enemies or attempt to pop each other's balloons for points. Beyond the main mode, Balloon Fight also includes an engaging side mode called "Balloon Trip". In this mode, players control their character flying continuously forward in a horizontally scrolling screen, collecting balloons for points and avoiding lightning bolts or other obstacles. This offers a challenge of control skills and reflexes, providing a different experience from the main gameplay.
