Introduce

In Arkanoid II, players control a small spaceship called Vaus, a power paddle, at the bottom of the screen. The primary objective is to use Vaus to bounce an energy ball upwards, destroying all the bricks on the screen. When the ball hits a brick, the brick disappears, and the ball bounces back. Players must prevent the ball from falling off the screen, otherwise, they will lose a life.

The game features numerous distinct stages, each with a unique brick layout and increasing difficulty. A distinctive aspect of Arkanoid II is the power-up items that drop from special bricks. These items appear as capsules, and players must catch them with Vaus. Common power-ups include:

L (Laser): Transforms Vaus into a laser cannon, allowing direct brick destruction.

E (Expand): Increases the size of Vaus, making it easier to catch the ball.

C (Catch): Allows Vaus to hold onto the ball, and players can release it at any time.

S (Slow): Reduces the ball's speed, making it easier to control.

D (Disruption): Splits the ball into three smaller balls.

B (Break): Creates a path through indestructible bricks.

P (Player): Grants an extra life.

W (Warp): Skips to the next stage immediately.

The game also features special bricks like indestructible bricks, multiplying bricks, and moving bricks. Occasionally, small alien creatures will appear and move across the screen, hindering the player. The ultimate goal is to confront the final boss, Doh, a mysterious antagonist who abducted Vaus in the first installment.
