Argus (Japan)

Argus is a classic vertical-scrolling shooter game released for the NES in Japan. Players control a combat spaceship with the unique ability to transform into a tank. This transformation mechanic is the core highlight of the game, allowing players to flexibly switch between the two forms to deal with different types of enemies.

In spaceship form, players will fly through the air, shooting down enemy aircraft and avoiding obstacles. This is the primary form for movement and engaging most aerial threats.
