Introduce
In Adventures of Lolo 2, players control Lolo, a charming character whose goal is to rescue his beloved Lala from the clutches of the evil Egger. The game is a puzzle game, requiring players to use their intelligence and planning skills to clear each stage.
Each stage is a room filled with obstacles, enemies, and special items. The main objective is to collect all the "Heart Framers" scattered throughout the screen. Once all Heart Framers are collected, the door to the next stage will open.
Lolo can move in four basic directions and push "Emerald Framers" blocks to create paths or trap enemies. However, Lolo cannot pull blocks or push them if there's an obstruction behind them. This creates many complex puzzle situations, requiring players to think carefully about each move.
In addition to moving and pushing blocks, Lolo can also use special magic abilities obtained from collecting Heart Framers or from treasure chests. These spells include: Bridge to cross water, Arrow to change the direction of arrow blocks, Hammer to break rocks, and the ability to turn enemies into eggs using the Shot spell. The Shot spell is the most basic ability, allowing Lolo to fire an energy ball to temporarily turn enemies into eggs. These eggs can then be pushed around or destroyed with another shot. If not destroyed, enemies will revive after a certain period.
Enemies in Adventures of Lolo 2 come in various types with unique behaviors. Some merely move along a set path, while others will chase Lolo or fire projectiles. Players must find ways to avoid them, or turn them into eggs to temporarily remove them from the path. Some enemies can only be eliminated by using specific spells or by trapping them.
The game features a total of 10 worlds, each consisting of 10 stages, making for 100 stages in total. The difficulty gradually increases through the stages, introducing new mechanics and more complex combinations of obstacles and enemies. At the end of each world, Lolo often faces a special stage or a mini-boss, where puzzle-solving is key to victory.
