Introduce

In Yoshi's Cookie for the Game Boy, players dive into a colorful puzzle world filled with adorable cookies. The main objective of the game is to clear all the cookies from the screen by arranging them into complete rows or columns of identical types.

The game screen is presented as a grid of squares, each containing various types of cookies. Players control a cursor to select and rotate rows or columns of cookies. Uniquely, you can rotate both horizontal rows and vertical columns. When a complete row or column of identical cookies is formed, they disappear, and new cookies fall from the top or slide in from the sides to fill the empty spaces.

The game features several modes. The primary mode is "Action," where you must achieve a certain score or clear a specific number of cookies to complete a stage. Difficulty progressively increases through the stages, with faster cookie drops and a wider variety of cookie types. A crucial element is the special Yoshi's Cookie, which acts as a "wildcard" cookie that can be matched with any other cookie type to complete a row or column.

Beyond the single-player experience, Yoshi's Cookie also includes a "Vs. Computer" mode, allowing you to compete against Mario or Luigi, where you must clear cookies faster than your opponent to win. The Game Boy version also supports a two-player mode via a Link Cable, offering an exciting competitive experience with friends. The game ends when the screen becomes full of cookies, and you can no longer make any moves.
