The gameplay in WWF Attitude focuses on one-on-one matches, and sometimes simplified tag team bouts. The control scheme is optimized for the GBC, allowing players to perform basic strikes like punches and kicks, grapples, and each wrestler's unique signature moves. Every superstar has their own move set, including powerful finishing moves that require players to build up momentum or weaken their opponent before they can be executed.
