Introduce

Wild Snake (also known as Snake Rattle 'n' Roll on some other platforms) is a unique puzzle game for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color, offering a fresh take on the classic snake genre. Instead of simply eating pellets and avoiding your tail, players control a snake navigating a colorful grid.

The primary objective in Wild Snake is to eat same-colored blocks to make them disappear from the screen. As your snake moves over a colored block, it "eats" it, and a segment of that color is added to your snake's tail. The challenge is to connect at least three tail segments of the same color to the block your snake's head is currently touching. If successful, those colored blocks and the corresponding tail segments will vanish, helping to clear the screen.

The game features multiple levels with varying layouts and obstacles. Players need to strategically maneuver the snake, avoiding collisions with walls or its own tail (if the tail becomes too long and isn't cleared in time). Once the screen is cleared of the necessary colored blocks, you advance to the next level. Each level often has a hidden "exit gate" that appears upon completion of the objective.

Wild Snake demands logical thinking and quick reflexes. Elements like bomb blocks, unbreakable blocks, and moving obstacles add to the complexity. Sometimes, you'll need to create chain reactions to clear a large area. The game features simple yet effective graphics, suitable for the Game Boy platform, along with characteristic music and sound effects.
