In Tom and Jerry - Mousehunt (GBC), players take on the role of the little mouse Jerry in a challenging adventure. Your primary objective is to collect all the pieces of cheese scattered throughout each level and then find your way to the mouse hole to complete the stage. Each level is designed as a complex maze, mimicking familiar household areas like the kitchen, living room, or garden, filled with obstacles and enemies.

Jerry's main antagonist is none other than Tom the cat. Tom will appear in various forms: sometimes he will simply patrol a specific area, and other times he will fiercely chase Jerry.
