In Survival Kids (also known as Stranded Kids in Japan), players assume the role of a boy or girl who finds themselves marooned on a deserted island after a shipwreck. The primary objective of the game is to survive and ultimately find a way back to civilization. Gameplay revolves around managing basic survival stats such as hunger, thirst, and health. Players must constantly search for food, water, and materials to craft essential tools.

The vast island is divided into various distinct areas, each harboring unique resources and dangers. Players will explore dense forests, sandy beaches, mysterious caves, and towering mountains to gather wood, stone, edible plants, and other useful items. The crafting system is a crucial element, allowing you to combine different items to create tools, weapons, shelters, and even means of escape. Time in the game progresses through a day-night cycle, affecting visibility and the appearance of certain animals. Players need to establish a safe shelter to rest and protect themselves from threats. Furthermore, you can encounter and interact with various wild animals; some can be hunted for food, while others might pose a danger. The game features multiple endings, which depend on the choices and actions made by the player throughout their adventure. To escape the island, you might need to repair a boat, build a raft, or signal for help. Survival Kids demands patience, strategic thinking, and adaptability to overcome the harsh challenges of the wilderness environment.
