Introduce
In Super Mario Bros Deluxe, players control Mario (or Luigi) on a quest to rescue Princess Peach from the evil Bowser. The game is a classic side-scrolling platformer where you must navigate challenging levels, jumping over obstacles, avoiding or defeating enemies.
Mario can collect power-ups like the Super Mushroom to grow larger, the Fire Flower to shoot fireballs, and the Super Star for temporary invincibility. The primary goal is to reach the end of each stage, touch the flagpole, and eventually confront Bowser in his castles at the end of each world.
This GBC version not only includes the entire original game but also features Super Mario Bros. For Super Players (the Japanese version of The Lost Levels), offering a significantly higher difficulty. Additionally, the game includes Challenge modes, where players must collect medals or find hidden items, and a Yoshi mini-game. The ability to print out images via the Game Boy Printer was also a unique feature, allowing players to print photos or high scores.
