Introduce
In Stranded Kids, players take on the role of one of two children, a Boy or a Girl, who become stranded on a deserted island after a mysterious shipwreck. The primary goal is to survive and find a way off the island. The game combines elements of adventure, exploration, and resource management.
Gameplay revolves around managing basic survival stats such as hunger, thirst, and health. Players must constantly search for food (berries, fish, small animals) and water (streams, collected rain). Neglecting these essential resources will lead to a decline in health and ultimately, failure.
Exploring the island is a crucial part of the game. The island features various environments like beaches, dense forests, caves, and mountains, each offering unique resources and dangers. Players will find useful items such as sticks, stones, vines, and leaves, all of which can be used for crafting. The crafting system allows for combining items to create tools (axes, pickaxes), weapons (spears, slingshots), or components necessary for building shelters.
In-game time progresses through a day-night cycle. Daytime is suitable for exploration and resource gathering, while nighttime brings potential dangers and the need for rest. Players can also construct a makeshift shelter to protect themselves from harsh weather and wild animals. Minor puzzles and sub-quests also appear, requiring players to think and use items creatively to progress. The ultimate objective is to discover a means to leave the island, whether by building a raft, sending a distress signal, or uncovering a secret escape route.
