**Radar Mission** is a classic strategy game for the Game Boy, highly reminiscent of the popular board game Battleship. The core gameplay revolves around two distinct modes: "Battle Mode" and "Game A Mode".

Battle Mode: This is the primary mode where players engage in naval combat. The objective is to locate and destroy an opponent's hidden fleet before they destroy yours. Players begin by deploying their fleet of various ships (aircraft carriers, battleships, destroyers, submarines) onto a grid, typically 10x10. Ships occupy different numbers of squares and can be placed horizontally or vertically. Strategic placement is key to making your fleet hard to find. Once fleets are deployed, the actual battle commences. Players take turns firing missiles at coordinates on the opponent's grid. When a shot is fired, the game provides feedback: a "miss" if no ship is hit, or a "hit" if a part of a ship is struck. If all parts of a ship are hit, that ship is "sunk". The radar display is crucial. It shows your previous shots and any hits or misses. As you hit parts of ships, the radar helps you deduce the ship's orientation and size, allowing you to target more effectively. The game features different missile types, some with a wider blast radius, adding a layer of tactical decision-making. Using special missiles wisely can turn the tide of battle. The first player to sink all of the opponent's ships wins the match.

Game A Mode: This mode is a unique variation, akin to a puzzle or a "hunt" game. In Game A, instead of placing your own ships, you are presented with a grid containing a hidden fleet. Your goal is to sink all these ships within a limited number of turns. This mode emphasizes deduction and efficient targeting, as you don't have an opponent firing back. It's a race against the clock (or turn limit) to clear the board. It often serves as a practice mode or a quick challenge.

The game's 8-bit graphics and simple sound effects are characteristic of the Game Boy era, yet they effectively convey the tension of naval warfare. The intuitive controls make it easy to pick up and play, while the strategic depth keeps players engaged. **Radar Mission** offers a compelling blend of luck and strategy, making each battle unique and challenging.
