Introduce
In Momotarou Dengeki, players embody Momotarou, a hero from Japanese folklore, embarking on an adventure from a top-down perspective. The game blends real-time action elements with exploration and character progression.
The core gameplay revolves around exploring diverse environments such as dungeons, forests, villages, and caves. Throughout these areas, players will encounter numerous monsters and enemies. The combat system is real-time, allowing Momotarou to utilize close-range weapons like swords, as well as special skills or magic learned throughout the game.
Item collection is a crucial aspect of Momotarou Dengeki. Players will find coins, recovery items, new equipment (armor, weapons), and quest-specific items necessary to progress. Defeating enemies grants Momotarou experience points, leading to level-ups and improved stats like strength, defense, and health points. Occasionally, Momotarou might also receive assistance from special animal companions (like a dog, monkey, or pheasant), each possessing unique abilities.
