Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - The Movie (GB)

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - The Movie for Game Boy (GBC compatible) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up action game based on the film of the same name. Players will control the familiar Power Rangers to battle against the villain Ivan Ooze and his army of henchmen.

Each level is typically divided into two main sections. The first part consists of platforming stages where players control one of the six Power Rangers (or some of them, depending on the level), such as Red, Blue, Black, Pink, Yellow, and White. Each Ranger has basic attacks and some special skills. Players must overcome numerous minor enemies, collect power-ups, and eventually face a boss at the end of each area. Attacks include punches, kicks, and jump moves. Occasionally, players can switch between available Rangers to gain a tactical advantage.

The second part of each major level usually involves a Megazord battle. After defeating the smaller bosses, the main boss of the stage transforms into a gigantic form, forcing the Power Rangers to combine their Zords into the Megazord (or later the Ninja Megazord) to confront it. Megazord battles are typically one-on-one fighting game style encounters, where players must utilize the Megazord's attacks and defenses to defeat the giant monster. Timing and executing the correct combos are key to victory.

The game's graphics are designed in a 2D style with fairly detailed character sprites for the Game Boy system. The music and sound effects also recreate the atmosphere of the movie. The ultimate goal is to defeat Ivan Ooze and restore peace to the world.
