Mercenary Force (GB)

In Mercenary Force, players assume the role of a mercenary commander, tasked with building and leading an elite squad through tactical battles. The core gameplay revolves around completing assigned missions, which typically involve defeating enemies or achieving specific objectives on the map.

Before each mission, players can visit the pub to recruit different types of mercenaries. Each mercenary belongs to a distinct character class such as Fighter, Archer, Mage, or Cleric, with each class possessing unique strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities. The selection and combination of these character classes are key to forming a balanced and effective team.

Upon entering battle, the gameplay shifts to a turn-based tactical system on a grid-based map. Players move each of their units across the map, carefully calculating positions for attack or defense. Each unit has a specific movement and attack range. Actions include direct attacks, using magic or special skills, and consuming recovery items. Terrain elements also play a crucial role, affecting line of sight and defensive capabilities.

Between missions, players can level up their mercenaries using experience gained from battles. Leveling up enhances stats, unlocks new skills, and allows for equipping stronger weapons and armor. Resource and equipment management is also an integral part of the gameplay, ensuring the squad is always prepared for the next challenges.
