Introduce

In Lode Runner - Domudomu Dan no Yabou, players control a "runner" character whose main objective is to collect all the gold bars scattered across the screen before finding a way to exit. Each level is presented as a maze consisting of multiple tiers, brick blocks, ladders, and ropes.

The unique aspect of the game lies in its environmental interaction. Your character can dig holes in solid brick blocks to their sides or directly below them. These holes are temporary, existing only for a short period before automatically refilling. This ability to dig holes is key to overcoming obstacles and dealing with enemies.

Enemies, often referred to as "Fuzzy" or "Monk," are simple robots that either follow a predetermined path or chase the player. Their goal is to touch and capture the player. If caught, the player loses a life. To avoid enemies, players can dig a hole to trap them. Enemies stuck in a hole cannot move, and after a certain period, they will fall to the level below (if any) or respawn at a random location on the screen.

A crucial strategy is to trap enemies in holes so they fall and drop any gold bars they might be carrying. Players need to quickly collect the gold before the enemy respawns or escapes the trap. Additionally, players can walk over the heads of enemies stuck in holes without losing a life, creating temporary pathways.

The game requires a combination of puzzle-solving thinking and quick reflexes. Players must plan their movements, the timing of digging holes, and how to use the environment to achieve their goals. With dozens of different levels, each with its own layout and challenges, Lode Runner - Domudomu Dan no Yabou offers a challenging and addictive entertainment experience.
