In Konchuu Hakase 3, players assume the role of a young entomologist tasked with exploring a vast natural world, collecting, and researching various insect species. The game combines adventure and RPG elements, similar to popular monster-collecting titles.
Core gameplay revolves around finding and capturing insects. You will navigate through diverse environments such as forests, grasslands, and rivers, using specialized tools like butterfly nets or traps to catch rare bugs. Each insect possesses unique characteristics and abilities.
Once collected, players can train and upgrade their insects. Insect battles are a crucial part of the game, where you pit your trained bugs in turn-based combat against wild insects or those of other entomologists. Winning battles will help your insects grow stronger, learn new skills, and potentially even evolve into more powerful forms.
Additionally, Konchuu Hakase 3 features a collection element, encouraging players to complete their insect encyclopedia.
