In Keitai Denjuu Telefang - Power Version, players step into a world where creatures called Denjuu reside. The game's unique selling point is the use of a mobile phone to communicate with Denjuu. Players will collect phone numbers of various Denjuu by finding them in the wild or by trading with other characters. Once you have a number, you can call that Denjuu to summon them into your party.
Core gameplay revolves around exploring the world, battling other Denjuu trainers, and collecting more Denjuu. Battles are turn-based, where your Denjuu and the opponent's will take turns attacking. Each Denjuu has unique stats and skills, along with attributes (like Fire, Water, Wood) that affect attack and defense effectiveness. Beyond battling, Denjuu can also evolve or change forms through various methods, making them stronger and unlocking new abilities.
