Introduce

Joryuu Janshi ni Chousen GB - Watashi-tachi ni Chousen Shitene! is a classic Mahjong game developed for the Game Boy Color, offering a traditional Japanese Mahjong experience.

In this title, players will engage in competitive Mahjong matches against a diverse cast of AI-controlled female Mahjong players, each designed with unique playing styles and difficulty levels. The primary objective is to form winning hands (yakus) by collecting and arranging Mahjong tiles according to specific rules, and then declaring "Tsumo" (self-drawn win) or "Ron" (win from an opponent's discard) to conclude the round.

Gameplay revolves around drawing and discarding tiles, and utilizing actions such as "Pon" (claiming a triplet), "Chi" (claiming a sequence), and "Kan" (claiming a quad) to complete sets. Players can also declare "Riichi" when they are one tile away from a winning hand, increasing their potential score but also their risk. The scoring system is based on various "yaku" (winning hand patterns) and "dora" (bonus tiles), requiring players to employ clear strategies to maximize their points.

The game typically features a Free Play mode or a Tournament Mode, where players must overcome successive opponents to achieve their ultimate goal. The interface is simple and intuitive, well-suited for the GBC screen, complemented by characteristic Mahjong sound effects, creating a relaxing yet challenging gaming atmosphere for Mahjong enthusiasts.
