Introduce

In **Frogger** for the Game Boy Color, players control a lone frog with the sole objective of guiding it across perilous obstacles to reach its safe home. Each level is divided into two main sections: a busy road and a dangerous river.

The first section is the road, featuring multiple lanes of continuously moving traffic. Players must time their movements precisely to guide the frog across the lanes, avoiding being hit by cars, trucks, and other vehicles. Even a slight touch will result in the frog losing a life.

After successfully navigating the road, the frog arrives at the river. Here, water is the enemy, and the frog cannot swim. Players must hop onto floating logs, the backs of turtles (some turtles will dive underwater, requiring quick reflexes), and even alligators. Caution is needed to avoid snakes or open-mouthed alligators waiting on logs or riverbanks.

The goal of each stage is to guide five frogs into their respective homes at the top of the screen. Players are given a limited number of lives and a ticking timer. Running out of time or lives leads to a Game Over.

Points are awarded for each safe hop, for successfully bringing frogs home, and for special actions such as catching flies or escorting female frogs to their nests. As players progress, the speed of vehicles and the river's current will increase, and the number of obstacles will become more dense, demanding increasingly higher skill and reflexes.

The **Frogger** version on Game Boy Color retains the classic arcade gameplay but may include graphical and audio enhancements tailored for the GBC platform, offering a familiar yet fresh experience for fans.
