Introduce

In Dropzone (Europe) (GBC), players control an astronaut equipped with a jetpack in an alien environment. The primary objective of the game is to rescue small creatures called "Blips" from various aggressive alien enemies. The game screen continuously scrolls horizontally, creating a sense of constant movement and pressure. Players must skillfully maneuver, dodging and destroying different types of enemies such as Pylons, Saucers, and other creatures capable of firing back or abducting Blips.

To rescue Blips, players need to fly close to them to pick them up, then transport them back to a safe base to score points. This is a crucial strategic element, as Blips left unattended for too long or abducted by enemies will be lost. Players can carry multiple Blips at once, but this also increases the risk when under attack. The game features multi-directional shooting, allowing players to fire in all directions to counter threats from various angles. The game's difficulty progressively increases with each level, demanding precise control and quick reflexes. Players have a limited number of lives and a protective shield. Power-ups may appear, enhancing weapons or shields, providing an advantage in the battle for survival. A small radar screen helps players track the positions of enemies and Blips that need rescuing, greatly assisting in strategizing movement and attacks.
