Dragon Quest Monsters 2 - Maruta no Fushigi na Kagi - Ruka no Tabidachi (Japanese version) is a monster-collecting RPG for the Game Boy Color, building upon the success of the Dragon Quest Monsters series.
Players assume the role of Ruka (or Lucha), one of two siblings (the other being Iru or Ilu) from the kingdom of GreatLog, an island floating on the back of a giant turtle. Disaster strikes when GreatLog begins to sink, and the only way to save the kingdom is to find a magical key. The player's adventure revolves around using these keys to unlock various dungeon worlds, each with its own theme and unique set of monsters.
