Introduce
In Dragon Dance, players engage in a fast-paced puzzle game, akin to classics like Puyo Puyo or Columns. The primary objective is to connect three or more dragon orbs of the same color, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, to make them disappear from the screen.
Orbs will fall from the top, and players must quickly rotate and position them before they hit the bottom or stack on top of other orbs. When a successful match is made, the orbs vanish, creating space for more orbs to fall and potentially triggering impressive chain combos, leading to higher scores.
The game offers various modes, including a single-player mode to hone your skills and a potential versus mode where you can compete against the AI or a friend. In versus mode, creating large combos not only earns you points but also sends "garbage" blocks to your opponent's screen, filling it up and potentially leading to their defeat.
The game's graphics are colorful and cartoonish, with well-designed dragon orbs and satisfying explosion effects when matches are made, impressive for a GBC title.
