Introduce
Dr. Mario (GB/GBC) is an addictive puzzle game that challenges players to eliminate various colored viruses by using pills dropped by Dr. Mario. The game screen is a giant medicine bottle filled with blue, red, and yellow viruses.
The player's objective is to clear all viruses from the screen. To achieve this, Dr. Mario drops two-colored pills from the top. Players control these pills, moving them left, right, and rotating them to arrange them. When four half-pills or viruses of the same color are aligned (horizontally or vertically), they disappear. This includes matching with existing viruses already present in the bottle.
The game requires strategic thinking and quick reflexes. As players progress through levels, the number of viruses increases, and the falling speed of the pills also accelerates, creating an increasingly challenging experience. Scores are calculated based on the number of viruses eliminated and the speed of level completion.
The Game Boy/Game Boy Color version of Dr. Mario retains the engaging core gameplay, allowing players to enjoy this classic puzzle experience anytime, anywhere. It's a fantastic puzzle game for those who love a good mental challenge.
