Introduce

Daisenryaku (Trans Eng) for Game Boy Color is a deep, turn-based military strategy game where players assume the role of a commander leading one faction in a global conflict. The primary objective is to build a powerful military force and employ clever tactics to capture enemy cities, airfields, and factories, ultimately defeating the opposing side entirely.

Players begin each scenario with a certain amount of resources and control over a few bases. From factories, you can produce a wide variety of military units, ranging from infantry, tanks, and artillery to fighter jets and warships. Each unit has its own strengths, weaknesses, and production costs. Resource management (typically money) is crucial, as it dictates your ability to sustain and expand your army.

Gameplay unfolds in turns. During your turn, players move units, attack enemies, and produce more troops. Terrain plays a significant role in Daisenryaku; units can gain defensive advantages when positioned on mountains or in forests, while roads and railways allow for faster movement. Cities and bases not only provide income but also serve as repair and production points for your forces.

The combat system is based on factors such as unit type, terrain, and damage sustained. When two units engage, the game calculates the outcome based on their attack and defense stats. The goal is to destroy enemy units and seize strategic points to weaken your opponent. Daisenryaku demands strategic thinking, long-term planning, and the ability to adapt to changing battlefield situations.
