Crystalis (USA) (GBC)

Crystalis is a top-down action RPG where players control a mysterious protagonist who awakens from a long cryogenic sleep in a post-apocalyptic world. Your quest is to explore vast lands, battle countless monsters, and unravel the mystery behind the catastrophe that ravaged the world.

Gameplay focuses on exploration and real-time combat. Players will wield various weapons, primarily swords, which can be empowered by collecting elemental crystals (wind, fire, water, earth). Each sword possesses a unique special ability, such as firing a charged energy blast.

In addition to swords, players can also utilize powerful magic spells learned throughout their journey. These spells can be used to attack enemies, clear obstacles, or assist in exploration.

The world of Crystalis is divided into various regions, from peaceful villages to perilous dungeons teeming with monsters and formidable bosses. Players need to upgrade their equipment and level up their character to face increasingly difficult challenges.
