Introduce

**Cross Hunter - X Hunter Version** (known in Japan as Rockman X: Cyber Mission) is a classic action-platformer for the Game Boy Color, bringing the familiar Mega Man X experience to a handheld console. Players step into the role of **X**, a valiant Maverick Hunter, on a mission to stop a new threat emerging from "Cyber-Space" – a corrupted network space overtaken by a new virus called Techno. This virus has reawakened and corrupted the data of old Mavericks, causing them to rampage once more.

The gameplay of **Cross Hunter - X Hunter Version** adheres to the well-established formula of the Mega Man X series. Players control **X** as he navigates challenging stages, avoiding obstacles and dispatching numerous enemies. Each stage is designed with multiple layers, requiring skillful movement, including jumping, dashing, and shooting. The ultimate goal of each stage is to confront a Maverick boss. Upon defeating a boss, **X** will acquire their special weapon, which can be used to deal greater damage to other bosses or to solve environmental puzzles.

In addition to collecting weapons, players can also search for hidden upgrades within each stage. These upgrades include: Heart Tanks (increasing X's maximum health), Sub-Tanks (storing energy for healing when needed), and special Armor Parts. By collecting all armor parts, **X** gains new abilities such as an extended dash, a more powerful charge shot, or reduced damage taken. The game also features a "Data Chip" system allowing players to customize X with minor abilities. Although the game reuses many bosses and stages from the SNES Mega Man X titles (X1, X2, X3), they have been redesigned with new layouts and unique challenges to suit the GBC platform, offering a familiar yet fresh experience for fans.
