Championship Pool (GB) gbc is a realistic billiards simulation game that brings the experience of playing pool right to your Game Boy Color. Players can participate in various game modes, including popular variations like 8-Ball Pool, 9-Ball Pool, and even Snooker. The main objective in each match is to use the cue stick to hit the cue ball, sinking the target balls into the pockets according to the specific rules of each format.

To execute a shot, players need to adjust several factors. First is the direction of the shot, which is done by moving a cursor around the cue ball to line up the shot's trajectory. Next is the power of the shot, typically adjusted via a power meter displayed on the screen. Pulling this meter further increases the shot's strength, making the ball travel faster or further. Additionally, players can adjust the impact point on the cue ball (spin) to create different spin effects, influencing the ball's path after impact or how it settles.

The control interface of Championship Pool is intuitively designed, utilizing the Game Boy Color's buttons. The A button is typically used to confirm or execute a shot, while the directional buttons (D-Pad) are used to move the view and adjust direction. The game may also include options to review the previous shot or change camera angles for a better view of the pool table. With crisp graphics and fairly stable billiards physics, Championship Pool provides hours of engaging entertainment for billiards enthusiasts.
