Introduce

The game **Free Fall (USA) (Proto)** is an experimental puzzle title developed for the NES, but ultimately remained unreleased. The core gameplay revolves around the player controlling a small character falling down a deep well filled with various blocks. The objective of the game is to clear blocks to create a path for the character to continue falling without getting stuck.

Players can move the character left or right while falling and can rotate or move blocks around the character to create openings. Unlike traditional falling block puzzlers like Tetris where blocks descend from the top, in **Free Fall (USA) (Proto)**, the character is the primary falling element, and the player interacts with existing blocks or new blocks that appear from below. When three or more blocks of the same color are aligned horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, they disappear, clearing space.

The game requires quick reflexes and strategic thinking to anticipate the character's descent and arrange blocks effectively. If the character gets stuck and cannot move further down, the game ends. The graphics are simple but functional, focusing on colored blocks and the small character. As a prototype version, the game may contain some bugs or unfinished features compared to a full retail release. Nevertheless, it offers a unique and challenging puzzle experience, distinct from many contemporary NES games.
