In Wizards & Warriors, players take on the role of the brave knight Kuros, tasked with rescuing Princess Elaine from the clutches of the evil wizard Malkil. The game is a blend of action, adventure, and platforming elements, where players must navigate through numerous challenging levels.

Each level in Wizards & Warriors is designed with various obstacles, enemies, and hidden secrets. Kuros is armed with a sword for close-quarters combat against fantastical creatures like goblins, giant spiders, and other monsters. The graphics and sound of Wizards & Warriors on the NES were quite impressive for its time, creating an enchanting adventure atmosphere. The ultimate goal is to confront Malkil in his castle and restore peace to the kingdom.
