Introduce

Videomation is not a traditional game but rather a unique video art creation tool designed for the NES system. Players are given a canvas to express their creativity by drawing, designing, and creating short animated sequences.

You can use the NES controller or the Zapper light gun to interact directly with the screen, drawing lines, shapes, and filling them with color. The software provides various drawing tools, from basic pencils to pre-defined shapes like circles and squares. A diverse color palette allows you to mix and match, producing rich visual effects.

A standout feature of Videomation is its ability to create animated clips. You can draw individual frames, then arrange them in sequence and play them back continuously to simulate movement. Options are available to repeat images, rotate, scale up/down, providing flexibility in design. The main objective is to freely explore and create your own 8-bit digital art pieces, experimenting with colors, shapes, and motion.
