Urban Champion (World)

In Urban Champion, players engage in a one-on-one street brawl. The primary objective is to either knock your opponent into an open manhole or deplete their stamina bar. The game features a relatively simple combat mechanic but requires tactical thinking.

Players can utilize light and heavy punches, as well as the ability to guard and dodge. Each successful hit reduces the opponent's stamina. Both characters have a stamina bar displayed at the top of the screen. When a character's stamina is depleted, they become stunned and are more easily pushed back.

The environment in Urban Champion is a bustling street. Throughout the match, manholes will periodically open on either side of the screen. This provides an opportunity for players to push their opponent into them for an instant win. Additionally, there are other disruptive elements such as pedestrians, flower pots falling from windows, and even police officers passing by. If a player or opponent is hit by a falling flower pot or caught by the police, they will be stunned or lose some stamina, creating an opening for the adversary to attack.

Matches are played in a best-of-three rounds format. If time runs out and no one has been pushed into a manhole, the player with more stamina wins that round. Despite its apparent simplicity, managing stamina, avoiding environmental hazards, and capitalizing on opportunities to push opponents into manholes are key to becoming the street champion in Urban Champion.
