Introduce

Tetris (USA) for the NES console is one of the most iconic versions of the classic puzzle game. The primary objective is to arrange various falling blocks, known as tetrominoes, as they descend from the top of the screen. Players must rotate and move these blocks left or right to fit them together, forming complete horizontal lines without any gaps.

When a horizontal line is filled, that line disappears, and all blocks above it shift downwards. This creates more space for the player to continue stacking. Points are awarded based on the number of lines cleared simultaneously; clearing more lines (e.g., clearing four lines at once, known as a "Tetris") yields significantly higher scores. The game features two main modes: "A-Type" is an endless mode focused on achieving the highest score, while "B-Type" requires players to clear a specific number of lines to complete a level.

The speed at which the blocks fall gradually increases as the player advances to higher levels, making the game progressively more challenging. If the blocks stack up and reach the top of the screen, the game ends. Tetris (USA) is renowned for its simple yet highly addictive gameplay, demanding both strategic thinking and quick reflexes. It has become an industry icon and one of the best-selling video games of all time.
