In Super Jeopardy!, players participate in a trivia game based on the format of the popular TV show of the same name. The main objective is to accumulate as much money as possible by correctly answering clues presented in the form of answers. Players will face two computer-controlled opponents or can play with friends.
The game is divided into two main rounds: the Jeopardy! Round and the Double Jeopardy! Round. Each round features a board with six different categories, each containing five clues with increasing monetary values. Players select a category and a monetary value, then a clue (answer) is displayed. Players must buzz in to earn the right to respond. If they answer correctly (in the form of a question), the corresponding amount is added to their score. If incorrect, that amount is deducted.
A special feature of the game is the appearance of Daily Double squares. When selecting this square, the player can wager any amount of money they have (or up to the maximum value of the clue if they don't have enough) before the clue is revealed. If answered correctly, the wagered amount is doubled; if incorrect, it is deducted.
The third and final round is Final Jeopardy!. In this round, a single category is revealed, and players have the opportunity to wager any amount from their current score. After placing their wager, the clue is displayed. Players must type their response in the form of a question. A correct answer adds the wager to their total score, while an incorrect one subtracts it. The player with the highest amount of money at the end of the Final Jeopardy! Round wins.
The game requires players to have broad knowledge across various fields and quick reflexes to buzz in and answer. The interface is simple and intuitive, effectively replicating the atmosphere of the television show.
