In Super Glove Ball, players are immersed in a unique 3D puzzle world where the primary objective is to use a first-person controlled glove to hit a ball and destroy all colorful blocks in each stage. This is an innovative take on classic brick-breaking games like Breakout or Arkanoid, elevated to a new dimension with its three-dimensional space.
Each stage in Super Glove Ball presents a complex arrangement of blocks positioned in space. The player controls the glove, moving it horizontally and vertically on a virtual plane, to catch and return the ball, making it collide with the blocks. When the ball hits a block, that block will disappear or change its state, depending on the block type. The goal is to clear all blocks in the stage to advance to the next.
The game features various block types; some blocks may require multiple hits to be destroyed, while others might move or have special effects. Additionally, during gameplay, power-ups and power-downs will drop from destroyed blocks. Players need to maneuver the glove to collect beneficial power-ups such as increasing the glove's size, slowing down the ball, or providing extra balls, making block destruction easier. Conversely, players should avoid power-downs that can be detrimental, like shrinking the glove or suddenly increasing the ball's speed.
The game's difficulty progressively increases with each stage, introducing more complex block structures, new obstacles, and faster ball speeds. Strategic thinking is crucial, as players need to calculate the ball's angle to optimize block destruction and item collection. Super Glove Ball demands dexterity, quick reflexes, and spatial reasoning to overcome its challenges.
