Introduce

SD Gundam - Gachapon Senshi 3 - Eiyuu Senki is a turn-based strategy game for the NES, immersing players in a world of adorable yet powerful SD (Super Deformed) Mobile Suits from the Gundam universe. The primary objective is to build a formidable army and conquer enemy bases across various maps.

Gameplay is divided into two main phases: the strategic map phase and the battle phase. In the map phase, players move their units across a grid-based map, capturing cities or bases to produce new Mobile Suits and gather resources. Each turn, players can construct different Mobile Suit units, ranging from basic Zakus to legendary Gundams, each with unique stats and abilities. Resource management and balancing unit production with base upgrades are crucial for success.

When two opposing units meet on the map, a battle ensues. The battle phase takes place on a separate screen, where units are displayed in a larger format. Players issue commands to their units to attack, move, or use special abilities. Although a turn-based strategy game, battles are quite dynamic with simple yet effective animations. The outcome of a battle depends on the quantity, type of units, and the player's strategy. Victory in combat brings the player closer to achieving the goal of conquering the entire map.

The game offers a deep strategic experience, requiring players to carefully plan every move, from resource allocation and unit selection to deployment on the battlefield. The diversity of Mobile Suits and the ability to upgrade them add further depth to the gameplay.
