Introduce

In SD Battle Oozumou - Heisei Hero Basho, players control Super Deformed (SD) versions of popular Japanese heroes from the Heisei era, engaging in intense sumo wrestling matches. The primary objective is to push your opponent out of the ring (dohyo) or force them to touch the ground with any part of their body other than the soles of their feet.

Each hero character, despite being in SD form, retains distinctive traits and may possess unique hidden skills or stats. The control system is relatively simple, focusing on movement, pushing, and executing basic grappling moves. Players need precise timing to evade opponent attacks and counter effectively.

The game typically includes a Tournament mode, where players must defeat multiple opponents consecutively to claim the championship, and a Versus mode, allowing two players to compete head-to-head. Matches are fast-paced and require dexterity in controlling position and strength to win. The characteristic NES pixel art graphics, combined with the SD characters, provide a fun and unique feel to this sumo fighting game.
