Introduce

San Guo Zhi - Qun Xiong Zheng Ba is a turn-based strategy game for the NES, immersing players in the chaotic Three Kingdoms period of China. The primary objective is to unite all lands under your control, becoming the sole emperor.

Players choose one of the historical factions such as Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Sun Quan, or other warlords. Each turn, you perform actions within the cities you control. Key activities include:

Domestic Affairs: Develop agriculture (increase food production), commerce (increase gold income), and population. This improves the economy and resources for your army.

Military Affairs: Recruit soldiers, train troops to increase their strength, and purchase weapons. Manage officers with various stats like Strength (combat power), Intelligence (ability to use schemes), Politics (ability to manage domestic affairs), and Charm (attracting talent).

Warfare: When deciding to attack an enemy city, the game transitions to a battle screen. Battles are turn-based, where players command their army units on a tactical map. You can employ various strategies, from direct assault to using schemes and ambushes. Officers may use special skills or magic (depending on the version) to gain an advantage. The goal is to eliminate all enemy troops or capture their base.

Diplomacy: Players can send envoys to other factions to form alliances, request aid, or even persuade opponents to surrender.

Recruiting Talent: Search for and recruit unaligned officers or persuade enemy officers to join your side. Skilled officers are key to victory.

The game demands players to possess strategic vision, efficient resource management, and military prowess to overcome challenges and ultimately unify China.
