In Power Blade, players control Nova, an elite cybernetic commando, whose crucial mission is to retrieve six data tapes from the invading alien forces on Earth. The game is set in the year 2191, and the survival of humanity hinges on Nova's success.

This is a side-scrolling action-platformer. The gameplay of Power Blade focuses on skillfully navigating hazardous environments, jumping over obstacles, and confronting a multitude of enemies.
