Introduce
In Panic Restaurant, players take control of the talented young chef Cookie on a quest to reclaim his restaurant from the evil chef Oh-No. Oh-No has transformed the restaurant into a haunted place filled with possessed food and kitchen utensils, and has also kidnapped Cookie's colleagues.
The gameplay of Panic Restaurant is primarily action-platformer based. Players will navigate through six distinct stages, each with its own theme and filled with bizarre enemies like walking toast, flying eggs, or attacking cutlery. Cookie's primary weapon initially is a spatula, but he can collect various more powerful weapons such as a frying pan, flying plates, explosive eggs, or a rolling pin. Each weapon has its own attack range and power, adding diversity to combat.
In addition to attacking, Cookie can also perform a ground pound to defeat enemies below or destroy obstacles. Power-ups scattered throughout the stages help Cookie enhance his strength, restore health, or gain extra lives. At the end of each stage, players will face a unique boss, requiring them to discover weaknesses and suitable strategies to defeat them.
Bright graphics, lively music, and addictive gameplay have made Panic Restaurant a beloved title on the NES, offering a fun and challenging entertainment experience.
